Hen's Party

Have you been tasked with planning a hen’s party and looking for inspiration? Give the bride a memorable send off with a bit of careful planning and some fun activities.

The question is, what to do, where to go? Here's are some tips and hen’s party activities you may consider.

The Basics

Begin planning the party well in advance to give you time to make sure the details are perfect. There are no set rules on when to host the party, but 3 - 4 weeks before the wedding is a good timeframe so the bride is not too busy or stressed with the final wedding arrangements to enjoy herself.

The Hens

Ask the bride-to-be for a list of names and contact details of the hen’s she’d like to invite early on to save-the-date and help you plan.

Activities and Locations

Plan your celebration with the bride-to-be in mind - is she likely to enjoy a day time celebration getting pampered or lounging by the pool? A slumber party in a hotel or a night of bar hopping?

Get Pampered. Getting facials or a mani pedi is the perfect way to kick off your hens party. Book into your favourite spa and get pampered!

Go for a fancy dinner or host a BBQ. Choose the perfect setting with the right ambiance and a delicious menu.

Dance the night away. Get your dancing shoes on for a night on the town, plenty of champagne and a few hen’s challenges.

Gather your hens to a hotel slumber party. After a day to pampering or lounging at the poolside, end your day with a slumber party and more drinks and games in your hotel room.

Entertainment. Find the perfect entertainment for your hens party. Spice things up with a topless waiter to serve you food and mix cocktails, or book a nude drawing model for your private art party and a few giggles. If you’re after something a little more naughty, book a semi-nude or nude strip tease and a lap dance for the bride-to-be.

Maenad offers a range of male entertainment to help make your night perfect. Choose your package and your man and let us help you plan the perfect celebration.
